This is an opportunity to work with Mace North America, to join a multi-billion-dollar aviation infrastructure program in Toronto, Canada. This initiative aims to revolutionize the airport into one of the most advanced, sustainable, and passenger-friendly facilities in the world. With a strong commitment to environmental conservation, the project aims to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and position the airport as a leader in environmental stewardship.

Your Responsibilities: Operational Excellence
  • Achieving and maintaining high efficiency in PMO processes, ensuring streamlined project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered within the allocated budget, implementing effective cost control measures and financial oversight.
  • Guaranteeing projects are completed on or ahead of schedule by maintaining robust scheduling practices and proactive risk management.
  • Upholding the highest standards of quality in project deliverables, ensuring all outputs meet or exceed client and regulatory requirements.
Client Satisfaction
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through regular communication, transparency, and responsiveness to their needs and concerns.
  • Providing exceptional PMO services that consistently meet or exceed client expectations, resulting in high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Actively seeking and incorporating client feedback to continuously improve PMO services and address any areas of concern promptly.
Standards Compliance
  • Ensuring all PMO activities are fully compliant with international ISO standards for project management, maintaining rigorous documentation and audit trails.
  • Continuously integrating industry best practices into PMO processes, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of project management excellence.
  • Guaranteeing that all projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements, minimizing legal and compliance risks.
Innovation
  • Directing the adoption and integration of digital tools and technologies to enhance PMO capabilities, improve data accuracy, and streamline project workflows.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO, encouraging innovation and the implementation of new ideas and methodologies.
  • Leveraging advanced project management software and analytics to drive decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and improve project outcomes.
  • Investing in the ongoing training and development of the PMO team, ensuring they are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.
You’ll Need:
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programs in the transportation sector.
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
  • Experience working in the transportation sector.
  • Experience in a director level position.
  • Previous experience working with the GTAA (Greater Toronto Airports Authority) or equivalent.
  • Industry qualification or chartership e.g. MRICS, PgMP, PMI, CMI, DBIA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable field.
