Revit for MEP Lead – Advanced

We are a BIM consultancy firm specializing in pre-construction and planning solutions.
Position
We are seeking a Revit MEP Lead with advanced expertise in Plumbing and HVAC systems for both Residential and Commercial construction projects, coupled with an advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for MEP. The successful candidate will play a pivotal roll in delivering projects within our dynamic work environment.
Please note: This position is open to local candidates only . Applicants not residing in Canada or lacking legal authorization to work will not be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
Managing teams and overseeing BIM for Pre-construction projects from inception to completion, utilizing Autodesk Revit for MEP
3D modeling and drawing production
Coordinating tasks with team members, including collaboration with Architectural and Structural teams
Providing accurate project budgets for proposal development
Managing project budgets and reporting
Assisting in the development and adherence to modeling best practices
Handling MEP team and project management tasks, including coordination, clash detection, resolution of RFIs, and addressing site-related issues
Participating in internal and client meetings
Ensuring model quality and accuracy control
Coordinating with clients and trades
Training and mentoring staff
Conducting site visits
Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of full-time work experience in Revit for MEP (candidates will be tested)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Single and Multi-Family Residential and Commercial Projects
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, both within our team and with other consultants, to deliver high-quality work
Advanced proficiency in English verbal and written communication; French language skills are an asset
Strong organizational and management abilities
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Extensive experience in understanding Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical drawings
Advanced knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Experience with Navisworks Manage is an asset
Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) is an asset
Advanced Autodesk Navisworks experience is preferred
Experience with Synchro 4D, SysQue for Revit, and Dynamo is an asset
Mandatory
Qualifications
Proficiency in English writing and speaking
Minimum 6 years of experience with Revit for MEP
Minimum 6 years of experience in Residential and Commercial construction
Residency in British Columbia, Canada, and authorization to legally work in Canada
Pay
Range $45/hour - $55/hour We offer extended health
and dental benefits, as well as paid vacation.
