About the role

The ideal candidate will assist the Purchasing team in the procurement of cost-effective raw materials, tools, parts, and supplies to support engineering and production. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, computer savvy, and have experience working in a fast-paced environment.

In addition, we offer 4 weeks of Personal Time Off to provide our employees with ample time for relaxation and rejuvenation. Please note that this position is 100% in-office (no remote work), emphasizing our commitment to teamwork and collaboration.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight on daily functions for the purchasing team
  • Maintain and track key KPIs including late order, move in, not needed materials, and change notices
  • Support with training of the purchasing team as required
  • Assist in all aspects of the purchase process, including maintaining a network of reliable suppliers, cost analysis, sourcing, quotations, timely order placement, monitoring of order delivery timelines, and resolving any discrepancies or delivery issues
  • Immediate notification to all stakeholders of any potential delay of materials
  • Expedite and facilitate flow of materials to and from various departments and note production complications
  • Work with vendors/suppliers to ensure accurate and on time delivery of goods, including making schedules, writing and fulfilling purchase orders, and estimating costs
  • Maintain accurate files in regards to pricing, order confirmations, and other vendor related issues
  • Continuously improve upon processes and offer solutions to best support the organization and increase overall efficiency and effectiveness
  • As required


Qualified candidates must possess:

  • At least 5 years of Purchasing experience required.
  • Proficiency at using computer systems (e.g. MS Office programs, ERP and other IT applications as trained/required).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, able to prioritize, and multi-task.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail, great attendance, and professionalism
