Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute contract strategies to achieve best value procurement for the organization.
  2. Perform business intelligence analysis to guide and support business units for strategic and tactical procurement initiatives.
  3. Build and manage successful relationships with vendors and support vendor performance management.
  4. Source and procure goods and services using a competitive process including preparing RFX documents and administrating the entire procurement process through an online bidding platform.
  5. Negotiate with vendors and prepare various agreements using template documents.
  6. Work with client groups as well as supporting business units such as Finance, Legal, and Operations to drive the procurement process.
Requirements
  1. Over 8 years of recent experience in procurement in a fast-paced and complex environment, supplemented by a bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  2. A professional designation in Supply Chain Management (SCMP) is an asset.
  3. Strong knowledge and experience in industrial, construction, engineering, mechanical, or maintenance environments is preferred.
  4. Strong business and financial acumen.
  5. Highly skilled at building and managing relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and projects.

Vancouver Airport Authority offers a competitive salary range of $87,926 to $114,912 per annum, based on a 37.5-hour work week.
