Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Create strong and lasting relationships with our customers
  • Use safe work practices to ensure safety of all staff, vendors and customers
  • Maintain open lines of communication with your manager & customers
  • Complete paperwork accurately pertaining to incoming and outgoing inventory
  • Schedule service calls with customers
  • Advise customers of work performed, general equipment condition & future repair requirements
  • Operate equipment used for testing and diagnosing purposes
  • Diagnose and repair fitness equipment with efficiency and accuracy
  • Coordinate with appropriate department for ordering of fitness parts
  • Install accessories and equipment
  • Occasional overnight travel
  • Other tasks as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanically inclined with technical knowledge on fitness equipment operations (considered an asset)
  • Competent computer skills
  • Capable and confident individual focused on customer service
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Accountable, reliable and possess good problem-solving skills
  • Organized with ability to balance priorities
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through
  • Ability to safely lift heavy products up to 55 lbs. on your own
  • Ability to safely lift heavy products, with team lifts over 100 lbs.
  • Team player with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new things
  • Good communication skills and willingness to assist team members
  • Must have valid driver's license, clean driving abstract and criminal record check
