Glenwood Auto Service is looking for a Automotive Technician to join our team

Our Automotive Technicians are responsible for performing repairs on vehicles, ensuring quality work and timely service. Technicians work 8am-5:30pm shifts Monday to Thursday, and from 8am-12pm on Fridays. WE CLOSE OUR DOORS AT NOON EVERY FRIDAY. If you have summer holidays booked, we will honour them, and you will have those weeks off.

Job Duties:

  • Perform quality repairs on vehicles including engine, brakes, transmission, electrical, suspension, air conditioning, tires and more.
  • Accurately record work performed and materials used during repair.
  • Keep repair facility clean and orderly.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Communicate with customers and other employees in a professional manner.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Skills:

  • A valid driver's license is required to be considered for this position; no exceptions.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • A basic knowledge of automotive repair is preferred but not required. We will train the right individuals
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; college degree is preferred but not required for more advanced degrees in repair or related fields.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and a drug test.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
