WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

If you desire to work for a company that supports farmers in Ontario and enjoy working with details, then we can’t wait to talk to you We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk that is eager to go above and beyond helping our members reach their goals.

Duties include:

  1. Receives and organizes incoming invoices, credits, receiving vouchers, expense reports, and other correspondence.
  2. Enters invoices, credits, receiving vouchers, discount terms, and special payments accurately into the computer system.
  3. Matches and verifies accuracy of the receiving reports and other documentation to supplier invoices/credits.
  4. Collaborates with our branches to ensure payments are made in accordance with their terms.
  5. Ensures GROWMARK invoice disputes are protested on e-supply promptly to avoid service charges.
  6. Communicates in a professional manner, verbally or in writing with staff and vendors.
  7. Completes supplier reconciliations and resolves vendor issues/inquiries.
  8. Maintains electronic vendor master files.
  9. Establishes and issues cheque runs.
  10. Performs general office duties.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  1. Minimum Grade 12 education. Completion of college or other courses in accounting, or bookkeeping (asset).
  2. Prior work experience and knowledge to provide level of understanding needed to perform responsibilities.
  3. Minimum of 60 wpm.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
