Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the vegetables department.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of vegetables.
  • Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Supervise and train staff in the vegetables department.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet department goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate prices.
  • Monitor sales performance and report to the store manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a supermarket or grocery store.
  • Knowledge of vegetables and produce.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be proficient in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
