Crushing Application Specialist - Northern Ontario
Toromont Cat is looking for a Crushing Specialist to join our team The Crushing Specialist is the primary resource for our customer and sales force in representing multiple crushing product lines. Perform demonstrations, training, control programs, inventory, and customer orders by reviewing and creating quotes.

In a typical day, YOU will:
- Demonstrate safe and environmentally sound work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
- Provide key dealer support for Metso, Masaba, Anaconda, and others to the Toromont Sales Team
- Review and assist in quotation preparation for both our Sales Team and customers based on application and specifications provided
- Manage inventory of Crushing products at various Branches within the Dealership territory
- Analyze, interpret and provide business recommendations for strategies based on trends in data from preventive maintenance and repair history
- Remain current on market trends and recognize opportunities for further business growth
- Lead activities involved with commissioning/demo of equipment for customers, including organizing shipment dates, logistics, on-site technicians, etc.
Must-haves for this role:
- Minimum of 5 years of applications experience in Aggregates Crushing Industry
- Understanding of aggregate product flow and able to demonstrate proficiency in electronic solutions (ie. Metso Bruno and Aggflo)
- Customer centric with solid understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment repair options and the effects on customer's business/downtime
- Solid understanding of all Crushing component solutions on the market.
- Excellent communication, relationship building/management and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse cross functional groups
- Proven sales and financial acumen with the ability to grow and develop in sales to support Toromont’s crushing strategies
- Self-directed, self-starter and flexible team player with initiative and a mindset for continuous improvement
- Effective time-management and planning skills with a sense of urgency
- Adaptable to multiple and often changing schedules and priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and other customer based systems
- Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of business needs
