The role: Canadian Field Sales Manager – (Based in Greater Montreal area)

Our team is expanding, and we are looking for an experiences sales or business development person that has experience selling and developing business in the Environmental testing marketplace. The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of successful selling and managing a team in Canada focused on the Industrial market segment in Montreal area. Experience in the industrial marketplace is a requirement. We seek a team player with energy, enthusiasm and a desire to grow and learn along with AnalytiChem.


What you will do: You will own some defined geography in Canada and manage a team of 2-3 Field and Inside Sales managers. You will be responsible for managing existing clients and growing new business thru development of expansion or totally new accounts for yourself and your team. Your efforts will be support by a team of field sales managers an internal team from customer experience & Inside sales managers. You will also set the strategy for Canada and lead by example. You will potentially act as the primary point of contact for a few NA strategic accounts within this geography. You will report to the Director of Sales for the Americas.

  • Optimize and deliver AnalytiChem’s value proposition within the customers’ specific applications.
  • Implement a prioritized business strategy specifically for Canada, aligning with market trends, technological advancements, and operational objectives.
  • Maximize company growth & profitability.
  • Provide customer-focused support around company initiatives or product launches.
  • Engage in direct customer interactions, including presentations and technical discussions.
  • Build and Manage pipeline, driving project lifecycles and ensuring successful closure.


Your main skills: Successful at closing deals and managing your team that results in increased revenue and profitability for our NA portfolio. Analysis of data and presentation skills are highly desire to be successful within the business and amongst the team. Positive attitude and high energy are desired as well as working well amongst a metrics environment.

  • General knowledge of procurement concepts, understanding customers’ buying patterns and offering solutions that meet their needs and our capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through collaboration.
  • Basic sales management skills (setting targets, managing expectations and pipelines).
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM program(s).
  • Uphold unimpeachable ethics and exhibit effective communication/people skills across diverse cultures, both in-person and via phone/email.


What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in sciences or business; equivalent experience considered within the industrial space.

5-7+ years’ experience in business within the Industrial/science space.

Possess strong business development acumen, with knowledge and experience of consultative selling principles and strategic/key account management.

Effectively relay experiences, facts, and strategies to colleagues in the business development group, fostering mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Communicate technical solutions effectively, bridging the gap between engineering expertise and customer needs.

Acquire and develop market, industry, and application-specific expertise to drive informed decision-making.

Demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities, recommending and implementing effective solutions.

Must be French and English speaking (proficient/expert).

Ce que vous ferez :

Vous serez responsable d'une zone géographique définie au Canada et gérerez une équipe de 2 à 3 directeurs des ventes internes et sur le terrain. Vous serez responsable de la gestion des clients existants et de la croissance de nouvelles affaires par le développement d'expansion ou de comptes entièrement nouveaux pour vous et votre équipe. Vos efforts seront soutenus par une équipe de Field Sales Managers, une équipe interne de Customer Experience et des Inside Sales Managers. Vous définirez également la stratégie pour le Canada et montrerez l'exemple. Vous serez potentiellement le point de contact principal pour quelques comptes stratégiques NA dans cette zone géographique. Vous serez rattaché au directeur des ventes pour les Amériques.

  • Optimiser et livrer la proposition de valeur d'AnalytiChem dans les applications spécifiques des clients.
  • Mettre en œuvre une stratégie d'affaires priorisée spécifiquement pour le Canada, en s'alignant sur les tendances du marché, les avancements technologiques et les objectifs opérationnels.
  • Maximiser la croissance et la rentabilité de l'entreprise.
  • Fournir un soutien axé sur le client dans le cadre d'initiatives de l'entreprise ou de lancements de produits.
  • Participer aux interactions directes avec les clients, y compris les présentations et les discussions techniques.
  • Construire et gérer le pipeline, en pilotant le cycle de vie des projets et en veillant à ce qu'ils soient clôturés avec succès.


Vos principales compétences :

Vous êtes capable de conclure des affaires et de gérer votre équipe de manière à accroître le chiffre d'affaires et la rentabilité de notre portefeuille de pays d'Amérique du Nord. L'analyse des données et les compétences en matière de présentation sont essentielles pour réussir au sein de l'entreprise et de l'équipe. Une attitude positive et une grande énergie sont souhaitées, ainsi qu'une bonne capacité à travailler dans un environnement de métrologie.

  • Connaissance générale des concepts d'approvisionnement, compréhension des habitudes d'achat des clients et offre de solutions qui répondent à leurs besoins et à nos capacités.
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la négociation et capacité avérée à diriger des personnes et à obtenir des résultats grâce à la collaboration.
  • Compétences de base en matière de gestion des ventes (fixation d'objectifs, gestion des attentes et du pipeline).
  • Compétences informatiques avancées, y compris Microsoft Office et le(s) programme(s) de gestion de la relation client.
  • Respecter une éthique irréprochable et faire preuve d'une communication et d'un sens du contact efficaces dans des cultures différentes, tant en personne que par téléphone ou par courrier électronique.


Ce que nous recherchons :

Licence en sciences ou en commerce ; expérience équivalente dans le domaine industriel.

5 à 7 ans d'expérience en affaires dans le domaine industriel/scientifique.

Posséder un sens aigu du développement commercial, avec une connaissance et une expérience des principes de vente consultative et de la gestion des comptes stratégiques/clés.

Relayer efficacement les expériences, les faits et les stratégies aux collègues du groupe de développement commercial, en favorisant le mentorat et le partage des connaissances.

Communiquer efficacement des solutions techniques, en comblant le fossé entre l'expertise technique et les besoins des clients.

Acquérir et développer une expertise spécifique au marché, à l'industrie et à l'application afin de prendre des décisions éclairées.

Faire preuve de créativité dans la résolution des problèmes, recommander et mettre en œuvre des solutions efficaces.
