About The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Finance, the Financial Analyst will manage the full-cycle accounting for the organization’s corporate entities while supporting the accounting team as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring CPA to gain broad exposure to the real estate investment sector, working in a collaborative environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting functions for corporate entities, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform month-end close processes, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare inter-company billings, reconciliations, and HST returns.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, audit responses, and roll-forward schedules.
  • Oversee payroll remittances and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for meeting deadlines, property updates, and calendar management.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Actively pursuing a CPA designation.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; experience in public accounting or real estate is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Excel and an ability to quickly learn new technology; experience with Yardi or similar ERP systems is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (preferably IFRS).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities within tight deadlines.
