Our client within furniture manufacturing requires a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and & Analysis to join their team. This role reports into the Controller, Financial Reporting and is in-office Monday to Friday.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company’s financial reporting and analysis functions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all financial reporting deliverables, including month-end reports, variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Administer the sales team compensation program, including periodic bonus calculations.
  • Manage customer (or vendor) subsidies, such as rebates and co-op programs, and their associated accounting.
  • Provide financial and operational reporting to the corporate team.
  • Offer ad-hoc financial analysis for business cases and proposals to support management decision-making.
  • Supervise a junior FP&A analyst.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (PivotTables, formulas) and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in French is a plus, but not required.


Required Skills:

  • A team player who is proactive, detail-oriented, and driven.
  • Comfortable and professional communicator across multiple platforms, always courteous and responsive.
  • Efficient in managing time and optimizing processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to navigate both formal and informal organizational structures with ease.
