Job Opportunity

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working closely with the club leadership team, the HR & Payroll Coordinator ensures our club team members are paid correctly each and every pay. Responsibilities
  1. Onboard new employees into the HR, Payroll & Time Attendance system (Rise) and other company-wide systems; process new changes and terminations
  2. Assist in processing semi-monthly payroll for 700+ hourly and salary employees, including monthly bonuses and commissions, overtime, sick and stat holiday/worked
  3. Administer electronic employee files, prepare various HR & Payroll reports, and process ROEs and T4s
  4. Support the administration of the company benefits plan by determining eligibility and enrolling employees
  5. Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
  6. Occasionally assist in the recruitment process through posting new openings, scheduling phone screens, and other related initiatives
  7. Support the Manager of Human Resources with related functions as required
  8. Additional duties may be assigned
Education & Experience

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related program is preferred. Payroll Certificate preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. One year of experience in an administrative environment. Proficient in Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, etc.). Able to work independently; self-motivated and a self-starter. Friendly, professional, and service-oriented, with all organizational levels. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented. Willingness to work a flexible schedule to ensure payroll is processed on time.
