National Sales Development Manager

Base Salary: $115,000-130,000 plus bonus and commissions
Our client is looking for a leader looking to grow market shares, lead a national sales team, and spearhead market expansion efforts across Canada and into the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute business and sales strategies to expand the company's market presence and increase revenue.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and support a national sales team; evaluate and restructure as needed to align with growth objectives.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new opportunities in existing markets and lead the entry into untapped regions
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with major retailers, wholesalers, contractors, and other partners.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee sales performance, analyze results, and implement solutions to address challenges or gaps.
- Experience: A proven track record in sales leadership roles within industries like building products or related sectors, with success in managing teams and achieving measurable growth.
- Sales Expertise: Skilled in developing relationships with large retailers, wholesalers, and other distribution partners.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Experienced in building, training, and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess markets, create actionable plans, and execute effectively to achieve results.
- Travel Readiness: Comfortable with regular travel to key markets and customers
