Job description


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in preparing estimates and budgets managing the pre-fab wall package material flow process via meticulous estimating, attentive purchasing/receiving, and accurate and timely data entry submission based on procurement activities: Bills of Lading, Purchase Orders, Receiving, Shop Use forms
  • Update inventory once materials are received, assign to site stack area in the shop yard, dispatch/schedule shipment, delivery to site assignment confirmation
  • Track material usage per project site delivery basis ensuring 'call-off order' quantities are not exceeded
  • Support management by completing/submitting required paperwork, and additional documentation, as required
  • Positive team mindset, inclusive mindset

Skills required

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Suite, Word, and Adobe
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with different departments
  • Analytical with collecting and organizing statistical data
  • Experience in the construction industry and lumber is considered an asset
