The shift schedule is Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:15 pm. Coordinating practical implementation of operational activities, and data analytics relating to the management, setup, and maintenance of Contracting Procurement and Supply Management (CPSM) inventories. Performance of inventory and financial analytics, inclusive of reporting and producing documentation, monitoring pricing, invoicing, account coding, and demand planning, in collaboration with different departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare system, and zone operational areas, a high level of analytic expertise to work with stakeholders, to identify, and prioritize projects that can facilitate quality healthcare initiatives. Initiation of troubleshooting actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities. Implementation of contract conversions in conjunction with AHS Supply Chain Services to support utilization of existing inventory and validation of supplier product information when establishing a new inventory item. Responsible for the control/isolation of non-conforming products identified as product recalls in conformance quality standards identified by AHS Product Quality & Safety Team. Monitor inventory levels and reconciliation physical inventories within the Distribution Centers, inclusive of physical counting, and financial reporting. Review and assignment of geographic stock locations and physical inventory within the Distribution Centers, including min/max analysis and labelling. Physical implementation of approved substitutions and planned conversions within the Distribution Centers. Comprehensive understanding of physical inventory replenishment based on the geographic stock capacity and estimated demand. Preparation of formal documents such as briefing notes, spreadsheets, reports, presentations.
As a Coordinator II, you will require advanced or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex projects, procedures, practices or initiatives within a department, program or business unit.
Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.
Experience with ORACLE e-business suite. Completion of post-secondary degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or diploma in a related field or equivalent is required. Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, with an ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of project management methodology in a health care setting. Experience working independently within a large organization with a variety of staffing groups. Proven ability to work collaboratively with other team members from other areas of expertise, and with the most senior management within the organization.
Minimum of three years' experience within healthcare-related settings, equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Preferred experience in a healthcare environment, including experience in inventory management. Knowledge of Alberta Health Services strategic direction, operating requirements, as well as policies and procedures.
