We are looking for an experienced construction service technician to join our service department. Handyman will perform range of facility maintenance and repair duties in various commercial, industrial and institutional settings.

  • Troubleshoot, layout, assemble, install, maintain, and repair various aspects of a facility across multiple construction handyman disciplines.
  • Perform additional repair and maintenance duties as required.
  • Proficient in both interior and exterior painting techniques.
  • Skilled in framing with steel studs.
  • Adept at performing both rough and finish carpentry tasks.
  • Experienced in drywall installation, including mudding and taping.
  • Capable of completing minor flooring repairs and installations.
  • Proficient in the installation and repair of commercial doors.
  • Strong proficiency in using hand tools and power equipment.
  • Knowledgeable about general construction and maintenance materials.
  • Capable of engaging with customers to meet, review, and discuss project requirements.
  • Skilled at identifying repair needs and responding to clients' maintenance requests.


Here are the skills you bring to the team:

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in handyman position in service for commercial and industrial
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and insurable on fleet policy
  • Ability to obtain a clean security clearance check
  • Willingness to work off of a ladder, scaffold or elevated work platform at various heights
  • Ability to work in a team environment, which may support various trades and roles where required, as well as comfort working alone
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly develop working relationships with a broad range of individuals, both internally and externally
  • Competence to provide exceptional customer service through clear and consistent verbal communication and detailed written reporting
  • Ability to hold self and others accountable
