Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Outside Sales Representative with proven expertise in high-value B2B sales, particularly in the luxury custom door and millwork industry. This is a senior-level, high-impact role, where you will leverage your established network, deep industry knowledge, and consultative sales expertise to drive substantial revenue growth for Brenlo. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with over 3 years of experience in premium product sales and the ability to generate 5 million dollars in sales annually with minimal oversight. Primary Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and secure high-value sales opportunities by engaging top-tier clients, including luxury homebuilders, architects, commercial developers, and designers, through targeted networking, cold calling, and telemarketing strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and a steady stream of referrals.
- Product Presentation & Sales Strategy: Present our full range of custom and stock doors, mouldings, trim, and arches with precision and authority, offering tailored solutions and clear value propositions.
- Negotiation & Deal Closing: Drive negotiations with confidence, expertly closing complex deals and securing multimillion-dollar contracts with ease.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery of custom orders, managing client expectations while meeting or exceeding deadlines.
- Market Leadership: Represent Brenlo at high-level trade shows, industry events, and sales meetings, positioning the company as the go-to provider of premium wood products.
- Sales Leadership: Be a driving force in achieving company targets, with clear metrics around revenue generation, closing ratios, and prospecting success.
Skills Required
- Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of the custom door, trim, and millwork market with the ability to sell complex, high-value solutions effectively.
- Proven Sales Success: A proven track record of achieving 7-figure sales goals annually, ideally within the luxury construction or design space.
- Consultative Selling: Ability to engage clients in consultative conversations, building trust and offering tailored, high-end product solutions.
- Negotiation Mastery: Advanced skills in high-stakes negotiations, closing sales with the ability to overcome objections and seal significant deals independently.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
- Independence & Drive: Ability to work autonomously, without the need for training, and quickly adapt to the high standards of Brenlo’s operations.
- Professional Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and confidence when engaging with clients, executives, and internal teams.
Measures of Success
- Sales Growth: Drive revenue of $5 million+ annually by securing new business and nurturing existing accounts.
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Achieve ambitious lead generation targets and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Deal Closure Rate: Consistently exceed closing ratio targets, converting leads into substantial, profitable sales.
- Client Satisfaction: Maintain the highest levels of client satisfaction, evidenced by repeat business, minimal complaints, and glowing referrals.
- Response Time: Timely resolution of customer issues with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Brand Representation: Represent Brenlo as a leading luxury brand in the millwork industry with professionalism and authority.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in outside sales with a strong background in high-end product sales (luxury doors, trim, or similar industries).
- Proven ability to sell premium products, with annual sales of 5 million dollars or more.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable, not required.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce to manage client relationships and sales pipelines effectively.
- Demonstrated success in navigating complex sales cycles, from initial contact through to successful deal closure.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle high-value, bespoke transactions.
