Seeking an Intermediate Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Burnaby. This role involves supporting multiple projects across Canada and the US. Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing cost and schedule baselines
  2. Analyzing monthly progress
  3. Maintaining dashboards
  4. Updating financial forecasts
  5. Ensuring compliance with financial controls and procedures
  6. Gathering project information
  7. Evaluating project variances
  8. Performing financial analyses

This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of project controls and reporting.

Hard Skills
  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. 3 years of related experience
  3. Proficiency with Primavera P6
  4. Knowledge of project management methodology
  5. Experience with budget development
  6. Familiarity with earned value metrics
  7. Understanding of finance and accounting concepts
Soft Skills
  1. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  2. Ability to work well in fast-paced environments

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Months(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Burnaby, British Columbia and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid work environment with Mondays and Fridays from home, and in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
