Customer Supply Chain Specialist

Reporting to the Manager, Customer Supply Chain, the Customer Supply Chain Specialist will act as a key liaison with the customer and sales departments to develop professional, long-term relationships through accurate and timely order management, process improvement and short and long term problem resolution.


Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately process, audit and manage customer orders in JDE (including availability, compliance and timeliness)
  2. Follow-up on all stock shortages, order shipping, customer specific requirements (i.e. ticketing and labeling) and miscellaneous issues that relate to the accurate and timely shipment of all orders.
  3. Be the point of contact with customers to answer questions/resolve discrepancies regarding stock, availability, shortages, timing of shipments and company policies regarding minimum order size, back orders etc.
  4. Complete month end reporting and month end closing activities on a timely basis
  5. Case Fill reporting on a monthly basis
  6. Make and implement recommendations to optimize current policies and procedures
  7. Assist with audit and clearing of customer non-compliance charges for assigned customers
  8. Process OS&D deductions for assigned customer portfolio and provide insights/learnings to Customer Supply Chain Manager
  9. Monitor open orders to ensure they are being processed in a timely manner from receipt to customer
  10. Update customers on order shorts and delay to minimize the impact to On Time and Case Fill (mitigating customer fines)
  11. Create monthly customer scorecard.

Qualifications:

  1. Bilingual English/French (asset)
  2. 3-4 years previous experience in customer service and order management in an MRP environment – JDE or SAP preferred
  3. Supply chain and EDI experience preferred
  4. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and order entry system.
  5. Analytical skills
  6. Presentation skills (asset)
  7. Post-secondary education required
  8. Excellent problem solving, prioritization, & organization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing projects.
  9. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, French as an asset
  11. Excellent customer service orientation
  12. Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems and resolve issues
