Your Opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager in our Geotechnical Group, join one of our offices in the Montreal, Quebec City, Chicoutimi, or Abitibi areas. Your main tasks will be to manage large-scale geotechnical projects, design structures, review technical reports and ensure the completion of all deliverables on time and on budget. You will make decisions and technical recommendations when:

  1. Participating in the construction of bridges and tunnels, in soil and in rock to better connect our communities.
  2. Building schools, hospitals, and public spaces to better serve our citizens.
  3. Providing innovative and resilient solutions in an ever-changing world.
Your Responsibilities
  1. Manage and carry out large-scale geotechnical studies.
  2. Identify the risks inherent to the activities.
  3. Manage complex technical situations.
  4. Establish applicable standards and procedures.
  5. Advise and develop new methods, practices, and tools.
  6. Participate in staff coaching and development.
  7. Participate in service proposals.
  8. Write reports.
  9. Ensure the administrative and financial management of mandates, maintain relationships with clients.
  10. Participate in the development of the geotechnical discipline at Stantec in Quebec.
Your Background
  1. Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including several years in infrastructure projects.
  3. Member of the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ).
  4. Excellent communication and project management skills.
  5. Fluency in French for writing technical reports.
  6. Knowledge of English is required to facilitate collaboration with our internal teams outside Quebec or with our clients.
