Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to create exceptional and detailed architectural application design and provide thought leadership and enable delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop architectural application for new deals/major change requests in existing deals
    1. Create an enterprise-wide architecture that ensures systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable.
    2. Manage application assets and direct development efforts within an enterprise to improve solution delivery and agility.
    3. Guide how to construct and assemble application components and services to support solution architecture and application development.
    4. Maintain frameworks and artifacts used in the implementation of an application, with reference to the systematic architecture of the overall application portfolio.
    5. Responsible for application architecture paradigms such as service-oriented architecture (SOA) and, more specifically, microservices, ensuring businesses achieve agility and scalability for a faster time to market.
    6. Provide solutions for RFPs received from clients and ensure overall design assurance.
      1. Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions including systems, shared infrastructure services, applications to better match business outcome objectives.
      2. Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, client requirements to set a collaboration design framework/architecture.
  2. Understanding application requirements and designing standardized applications
    1. Create Intellectual Property in forms of services, patterns, models, and organizational approaches.
    2. Design patterns, best practices, and reusable applications for future references.
    3. Ensure system capabilities are consumed by system components and set criteria for evaluating technical and business value.
    4. Provide a platform to create standardized tools, uniform design, and techniques to reduce maintenance costs.
    5. Create customized applications for customers aligned with their needs.
    6. Perform design and code reviews regularly, keeping security measures in mind.
    7. Work closely with systems analysts, software developers, and other team members to ensure successful production of application software.
    8. Seamlessly integrate new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems and maintain data structure.
    9. Transform all applications into digital form and implement and evolve around mesh app and service architecture that supports new technologies.
    10. Identify internal and external dependencies, vendor, and internal IT management.
  3. Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/frameworks
    1. Build and maintain relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects, and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor.
    2. Collaborate with enterprise architect for translating business strategy to execution.
    3. Develop and establish relevant technical, business process, and overall support metrics (KPI/SLA) to drive results.
    4. Manage multiple projects and accurately report the status of all major assignments while adhering to project management standards.
    5. Identify technical, process, structural risks and prepare a risk mitigation plan for all projects.
    6. Ensure quality assurance of all architecture or design decisions and provide technical mitigation support to delivery teams.

  1. Ensure completion of necessary trainings and certifications.
  2. Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs), case studies, demos for new growth areas based on market and customer research.
  3. Develop and present a point of view on application design and architecture by writing white papers, blogs.
