Your New Role

As the Health and Safety Coordinator, you will report directly to the Plant Director. You will be responsible for maintaining and implementing the health and safety program at the Montreal plant. Your duties will include managing safety programs, conducting inspections, developing policies, and training employees on safety procedures. You'll play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and prevention across all levels of the organization.

What You Need to Succeed in This Role

To excel in this role, you should have relevant training in Health and Safety, such as a Bachelor’s degree or certificate, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in health and safety within a manufacturing environment. Field experience in health and safety is essential. Functional bilingualism in both spoken and written French and English is required, as is proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). You should possess strong communication skills for training purposes, excellent teamwork and leadership abilities, and proven analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to work without direct supervision is also crucial.

Votre nouveau rôle


En tant que Coordonnateur(trice) Santé et Sécurité, vous relèverez directement du Directeur d’usine. Vous serez responsable de maintenir et de mettre en œuvre le programme de santé et sécurité à l'usine de Montréal. Vos tâches incluront la gestion des programmes de sécurité, la réalisation d'inspections, l'élaboration de politiques et la formation des employés sur les procédures de sécurité. Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la promotion d'une culture de sécurité et de prévention à tous les niveaux de l'organisation.


Ce dont vous avez besoin pour réussir dans ce rôle


Pour exceller dans ce rôle, vous devez avoir une formation pertinente en Santé et Sécurité, telle qu’un baccalauréat ou un certificat, ainsi qu'un minimum de 4 ans d'expérience en santé et sécurité dans un environnement manufacturier. Une expérience terrain en santé et sécurité est essentielle. Un bilinguisme fonctionnel à l’oral et à l’écrit en français et en anglais est requis, de même qu’une maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Vous devez posséder de solides compétences en communication pour la formation, d'excellentes aptitudes en travail d'équipe et en leadership, ainsi que des compétences démontrées en analyse et en résolution de problèmes. La capacité de travailler sans supervision directe est également cruciale.
