Matrix Camps and Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Recruiter to join our team. As a Contract Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process for various positions within our organization. In this 8-12 month term position, you will work closely with the in-house Matrix HR team, as well as hiring managers to understand their needs, develop job descriptions, post job advertisements, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting for a wide range of camp based roles in mining or other heavy industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is desired
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the construction, mining or other heavy industrial resource sectors is required.
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including job description development, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations
Must be familiar with, and proficient in, Applicant Tracking Software, specifically Workable
Knowledge of provincial and territorial employment laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
Certification in recruitment or human resources is an asset

Benefits
Matrix offers a competitive wage of between $30.00 to $48.00 per hour, based on billable hours worked per day, and fully dependent upon experience. This is a fully remote, 8-12 month term independent contractor term position, as such, the candidate must have home-based office space compatible to support a role like this.
