Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Lead Product Specialist with a strong understanding of trade compliance and system integrations to drive the success of our customs solutions portfolio. The Lead Product Specialist will oversee the development, delivery, and enhancements of CrimsonLogic's Digital Customs & Trade Compliance Solutions in North America.

This role combines technical expertise, product management, and customer engagement to ensure our solutions meet regulatory standards and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management:

  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation and roadmap planning to release and post-launch enhancements.
  • Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory changes to inform product development and ensure competitiveness. Manage the prioritization of product features to align with business objectives and client needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements for integrations with customs platforms like ACE, ACI, IID, CARM and CERS.

Customer Management and Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and adoption of customs integration solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their operational challenges and advocate for product improvements.
  • Provide training, support, and documentation to help clients maximize the value of our systems.
  • Actively monitor client satisfaction and retention metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Customs Integration Expertise:

  • Support the design and implementation of integrations with U.S. and Canadian customs platforms using EDI, APIs, or other protocols.
  • Stay abreast of customs regulations, such as tariff codes, PGA requirements, and compliance updates, and ensure products meet these standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align product messaging with customer needs.
  • Coordinate with operations and IT teams to ensure product scalability and performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, or customer forums to showcase thought leadership in customs integration.

Reporting Structure

  • This role will report to: Product Manager, CrimsonLogic Canada

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, customer engagement, or trade compliance solutions.
  • Prior experience with Canadian and US Customs programs such as ACE, ACI, IID/CARM, RNS
  • Strong ability to translate customer requirements into technical requirements, skilled in writing user stories, draft test cases and perform UAT
  • Strong customer relationship management and interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience in managing, operating, or implementing digital regulatory compliance solutions is highly advantageous
  • Industry certifications such as CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) or CTCS (Certified Trade Compliance Specialist)
  • Proven track record of managing B2B SaaS or logistics technology products
