Job Title: Finance Manager


Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager with a proven track record in financial management and integration projects to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of finance principles, combined with expertise in leading and executing integration initiatives. This role is instrumental in driving financial efficiency and effectiveness across the organization during periods of change and growth.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute financial integration strategies for mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial implications and develop integration plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on financial considerations throughout the integration process to optimize outcomes and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence to evaluate potential integration opportunities.
  • Assess the financial impact of proposed mergers or acquisitions, including synergy analysis, cost-saving opportunities, and risk assessment.
  • Identify key financial drivers and metrics to support decision-making and integration planning.
  • Lead the development of integrated budgets and financial forecasts post-integration.
  • Work closely with finance teams to align budgeting and forecasting processes across merged entities.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgeted targets and provide regular reporting to senior management.
  • Streamline financial processes and systems to facilitate seamless integration of acquired entities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and standardized procedures to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Oversee financial reporting requirements related to integration activities, including ASPE compliance and regulatory filings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results for merged entities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audit activities and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for finance-related integration matters, both internally and externally.
  • Communicate financial integration progress, challenges, and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration and alignment throughout the integration process.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA designation required.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, with a focus on integration projects within a corporate or M&A environment.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and tools, including ERP systems and financial modeling software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset, with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in dynamic environments.
