Job Description:

The Finance Business Analyst will provide the leadership team with data insights and analytics to help inform company’s commercial and operational strategies. This position partners closely with Finance and the Sales team. Candidates must be well organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple business units and support executive leadership in driving the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process.
  • Analyze operational budget across multiple departments and track budget to actual variance on a monthly basis.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cash flow models to forecast short-term and long-term liquidity needs, incorporating various scenarios and assumptions.
  • Monitor actual cash flows against projections, identify variances and potential risks, and recommend adjustments to optimize cash management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain robust business intelligence solutions to provide real-time dashboards and reports for key stakeholders, enhancing visibility into sales performance.
  • Define, Monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and marketing, enabling proactive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve the revenue forecasting process, leveraging historical data, market trends, and input from cross-functional teams to produce accurate and insightful sales forecasts.
  • Utilize statistical models and data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from sales data, identifying key drivers and factors influencing sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Math, Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience
  • 3+ years of direct FP&A or business analytics experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 100% of a typical working day
  • Ability to travel 10% of the working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Working understanding of HubSpot or equivalent CRM systems
  • Experience with Adtech, MarTech or SaaS industries
  • Experience writing SQL queries and scripting languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with data analytics software, such as Tableau, PowerBI or Alteryx
