POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Manager of Organizational Development & Effectiveness, you will play a key role in shaping a thriving, high-performing culture by strengthening leadership capability, enhancing employee development, wellness and engagement, and driving organizational effectiveness. You will lead initiatives that foster collaboration, align talent strategies to business goals, and develop employees and leaders, to create a workplace where every employee feels valued and connected to their purpose.


You will bring a strong skillset around collaboration and cross-functional teaming and are an influencer within an integrated leadership team environment. Your strong systems thinking and continuous drive to stay on top of industry trends and progress contributes to solutions that integrate well across the spectrum of HR programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Formal & Informal Leadership: Leverage a future-centric approach to leading initiatives that drive organizational development and effectiveness within the team and across the organization. Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to align organizational goals with people-centric strategies.

Learning & Talent Programs: Oversee learning and development initiatives that foster continuous growth, enhance leadership capabilities and support strong talent pipelines.

Culture & Inclusion: Champion a mission-inspired, values-based culture of trust, collaboration, respect and community.

Organizational Effectiveness: Drive change management initiatives, team effectiveness programs and performance enablement strategies to optimize operational success.

Employee Engagement & Wellbeing: Develop strategies to enhance engagement, strengthen organizational culture and promote a body, mind and soul approach to wellbeing in ways that contribute to employees’ feeling of belonging and value.

Data & Insights: Leverage engagement surveys, performance metrics, and other data to assess organizational health and inform decisions.


What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Adult Development, or a related discipline. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

• Experience: 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in learning and development, organizational development, leadership development, team effectiveness or other related discipline. 3+ years leading a multidisciplinary professional team to deliver learning and development and /or organizational development initiatives.

• Skills: Strong facilitation, coaching, change management, consulting, and learning management system skills. Can synthesize and translate complex data, insights and macro trends into tangible and applicable perspectives that influence business problem solving and HR solution design. Certified Coach and preferably a CPHR designation.

• Tools: Proficiency in data analysis and digital literacy.

• Leadership: Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence across all levels of an organization, as well as Experience designing and implementing leadership and talent development programs.

• Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: You excel at strategic relationship building and are able to leverage human resources and professional relationships to deliver on the different areas of work that contribute to the vision of the team.

• Collaboration & Communication: Understand the interconnectedness of your assigned portfolio to other portfolios within the team and Work closely with HR, leadership, department heads and other stakeholder groups to ensure a unified approach to organizational development, culture-building, and workforce optimization.

• Passion: A genuine commitment to improving the healthcare experience for both employees and patients as well as a jazz for leading culture, learning, wellness, and/or performance initiatives within a complex organization.

• Business Acumen and Resilience: You get the business You have the skills to keep your eyes on the goal while effectively juggling multiple balls on both hands You’re able to pivot and re-evaluate priorities in a dynamic and ever-changing work environment while ensuring consistency and alignment with the overarching goal.
