Role Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Sales Business Strategy:

  • Pitching and closing deals with prospective clients, by phone and face to face meetings
  • Managing the customer relationship for new customers to ensure smooth on-boarding and first trades.
  • Provide accurate forecasting of expected sales volume.
  • Ensure adherence to company wide sales methodology and sales administration processes.
  • Be involved in the recruitment and onboarding of Business Development Associates
  • You will, alongside developing your team, be required to hold a sales revenue target and build your own pipeline of deliverable business.
  • Maintain leads and accounts in our CRM.
  • Monitoring effectiveness of strategies in line with performance and adapting where necessary;
  • Providing feedback from their respective teams to the Director of Sales on new products and initiatives that will increase revenue;
  • Required to diligently assess the needs and expectations of clients they bring onboard.
  • Must ensure thorough research and analysis of client requirements to guarantee optimal service provision and customer satisfaction.
  • Obligated to verify the authenticity and legitimacy of clients they bring onboard, safeguarding against the inclusion of false or fraudulent individuals or entities in the company’s clientele.

Operational Sales Related Activities

  • Ensuring adherence to Monex’s remuneration policies, procedures and practices and promote sound and effective risk management.
  • Ensuring adherence to Compliance policies e.g. Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), Pricing Policies, Gifts and Entertainment, Complaints, Training & Competence etc.;
  • Promptly report conduct breaches or potential conduct breaches to the Country Manager and provide confidential assistance to investigate and escalate as appropriate;
  • Assist in the organisation of regular training to ensure their team members understand all of the appropriate company policies and processes with regard to regulation
  • Be commercially aware and use professional networks to keep up to date on competitor’s strategic activities, utilising this information where appropriate;
  • Oversee the management of all aspects of the distribution and marketing of financial products and services, including the development of marketing materials such as advertising, presentations and roadshows;
  • Oversee the planning, organisation and participation for all client events and representing Monex at conferences and events promoting the company’s products and services
