SNC-Lavalin’s Major Projects division is in search of an Accounts Payable Administrator to join a transformative transit infrastructure project in Toronto. The Accounts Payable Administrator role will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision.

The role will report to the Finance Lead.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Review and process high volume of invoices and expense reports
  • Follow up with project managers, project accounting teams, other departments and vendors to ensure issues with invoices are resolved and payments are processed in a timely manner
  • Accurately record costs in the accounting system
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures (including the Levels of Authority and Delegation) especially those that relate to the purchase, payable and payment business cycle
  • Understand and handle Inter-company transactions in a complex organization structure
  • Handle vendor inquiries
  • Assist the finance team in monthly account reconciliations for the accounts payable related accounts
  • Other related responsibilities as required
