Who are we?

RMT is a proudly Quebec-based family business, established in Blainville and operating for 26 years. Our mission is to make our roads and loading sites more productive and safer.

RMT has come a long way. Our ambitious team owes its success to all those with whom we have collaborated since day one. Our commitment to our clients is supported by a strong team and a vast network of distributors in North America and internationally.

With its 26 years of experience, RMT has worked on numerous projects in Quebec with clients using heavy machinery, road trucks, or fork-lift equipment. This expertise allows us to solve weight overload issues on the road with our range of electronic scales and secure pedestrian-machine interactions with AI-equipped camera solutions.

Your main responsibilities as a road electromechanic:

Installing electronic scales on heavy machinery and trucks
Installing cameras with artificial intelligence
Installing pedestrian and object detection systems
Training operators and programming our systems
Proposing solutions to clients
Commissioning wireless cloud-connected solutions
Calibration, maintenance, and preventive servicing

What does success look like?

In 6 months:
You will be much more than a technician in training. You will have completed installations with your colleagues, marked by learning and success. You will have delved into our products, installing and maintaining them autonomously. Deadlines will be an opportunity to demonstrate your mastery of electromechanics and your commitment to excellence. Your interactions with clients will highlight your professionalism through attentive listening and effective solutions.

In 12 months:
You will have developed a deep technical expertise in our products, allowing you to solve complex problems and optimize equipment performance. You will lead improvement projects to optimize the service department and product processes. You will be recognized by clients and colleagues for your professionalism and commitment to the company’s values. You will participate in special missions off the beaten path.
Skills & abilities:
  • A professional diploma in electromechanics or equivalent experience;
  • 2-5 year(s) experience as an on-road technician;
  • Excellent electromechanical skills;
  • Excellent customer service;
  • Demonstrate an interest in technology and innovation;
  • Ability to read technical information;
  • You are bilingual (English & French).

Requirements:
  • Driver’s license with good driving record;
  • Valid passport.
