Like hats? Wear many hats here Currently seeking an Office Manager to work in our clients Ottawa facility. This is a permanent onsite role which will include full benefits. The selected applicant will be responsible handling a high volume of employee inquiries to assure smooth flow in day to day operations within the business. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to assure day to day operations and compliance within the office.


Responsibilities:

  • Assure project deadlines are met consistently by team
  • Assure lab employees adhere to safety and best practises
  • Communicate with various departments to assure quality within operations
  • Ensure customer retention
  • Supporting the training and development of office staff
  • Assure quality of employees work
  • Supporting team with necessary tools to complete their roles successfully
  • Handling issues for employees
  • Supporting HR with process
  • Assure compliance of the office
  • Assure accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Assist manages in creating operational budgets
  • Coordinating employee events as well as community events


Qualifications:

  • 5 years managerial experience within a high volume role
  • Experience managing more than 20 employees
  • Ideally Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with calibration would be an added bonus
