Role Description

This is an entry-level full-time position for a Prototyping & Manufacturing Technician. The primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assembly of prototypes in a range of fields such as consumer electronics, medical devices, and industrial IoT.
  • Conduct experiments and tests to assess the performance, usability, and safety of prototypes
  • Collect and analyze data from tests and present findings to the product team
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues or defects in prototypes
  • Document and maintain records of the prototype development process and ensure that quality standards and regulations are met.
  • Operating 3D printer and post processing parts
  • Working with clients and team members to solve problems
  • Boxing, labelling, inventorying
  • Loading/unloading goods


Qualifications

  • Experience with hands-on assembly and common workshop tools
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
