What you will do
  1. Identify any potential security gaps in existing application infrastructure and work with appropriate stakeholders for remediation.
  2. Operate our key security tools and constantly tune and build automated response playbooks.
  3. Define security configurations for endpoint, network, email security, etc.
  4. Design automated workflows to streamline security operations.
  5. Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and work effort needed to design and implement moderately complex technical solutions.
  6. Monitor and proactively manage supported products and services to ensure their performance, availability, security, and capacity.
  7. Research, analyze, and formulate recommendations regarding technologies, products, and solutions to fulfill requirements within the enterprise.
  8. Perform due diligence in ensuring that appropriate technology solutions are chosen to facilitate security at the application level.
What you will bring with you
  1. Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
  2. Solid experience in a security engineering role.
  3. Experience deploying and managing various security technologies including AV, network security, email security, SIEM.
  4. Expertise in applying security principles to cloud-native environments (AWS, containerization, and microservices).
  5. Knowledge of enterprise logging, with a focus on security event logging.
  6. Strong understanding of security operations concepts.
  7. Proven expertise with networking protocols.
  8. Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as Terraform and GitHub.
  9. Experience with user/customer identity management, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
  10. Scripting experience in the following: Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, PowerShell, Perl, Bash, SQL scripting, Java.

The U.S. annual on target earnings (OTE) range for this full-time position is between $143,000 and $179,000 USD/year. This range represents a combination of annual base pay and targeted commission. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate’s work location, job-related skills, experience and education.
