Recruitment - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment)

Full time

At Acorn PLMS, we are on a mission to transform the corporate learning experience. Our cutting-edge software is powered by AI and designed to ensure that what people learn directly contributes to their exceptional performance in business. Acorn is the only solution that guides learners step by step to master the specific capabilities required for their roles, ultimately accelerating organisational performance.

The role

We’ve experienced extraordinary team growth (294% in 2024) and are looking at doubling our workforce in the next year. To support this, we’re looking for a Technical Recruiter to grow our Product and Technical Customer Support teams.

We’ve always placed emphasis on having the right people in the right seats at the right time. You’ll be working within our People team and partnering with Development, Design, and Customer Support leaders to enable our teams to work at full potential and support individuals to do what they do best within those teams.

We’re looking for someone to work in our Canberra headquarters or help shape our forthcoming Sydney office. Our ideal candidate has experience helping scale a company and can lead people strategy. Acorn is hiring globally between our offices in Canberra, Vancouver, and Sydney, so we need someone who can speak to multiple talent markets.

Responsibilities

  • Leveraging data to facilitate informed discussions with hiring teams, ensuring efficient and customer-centric recruitment strategies.
  • Championing integrity and inclusion in all actions and fostering inclusive teams and environments.
  • Promoting a candidate experience that prioritises transparency, empathy, and fairness throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilising social media and creative tools to effectively source potential candidates.
  • Building strong relationships with all partners, including candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, and team members.
  • Serving as a consultant to hiring managers, guiding them through every step of the recruitment journey.

About you

  • Proven experience as a Recruiter in highly technical fields such as Software Development, Product Design, or Customer Support.
  • Positive, resourceful, and motivated attitude with the ability to work creatively and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong partner management skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven approach to recruitment.
  • Sound understanding of learning technology and its applications.
