The Senior Architect is responsible for designing highly complex software and hardware solutions while leading cross-functional teams to support the company's strategic goals. This role demands a technical expert capable of driving alignment with organizational standards and providing architectural oversight throughout all project phases, from pre-sales engagements to solution implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Lead the design and development of highly complex technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Standards and Direction: Ensure adherence to established standards and technical direction across teams.
- Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support: Act as the technical and architectural expert during contract crafting, participating in both pre- and post-sales activities to ensure solution alignment with customer needs.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with key technical managers and experts from the customer side to understand business complexities and validate proposed technical architectures.
- Consulting & Technical Guidance: Provide analysis, guidance, and technical system solutions to address customer business requirements.
- Solution Architecture Oversight: Oversee the development and implementation of both hardware and software solutions at the customer/program level.
- Architecture Approval: Review and approve architectural designs, ensuring alignment with both business and technical requirements.
- Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and present proposals and project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Technology Trends: Provide expertise in third-party products, tools, and emerging technology trends.
- API Integration: Previous experience with third-party API integration and business enablement within the overall ecosystem.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with developers, domain architects, and external customers, fostering a collaborative and flexible team environment.
- Diagram & Process Engineering: Develop process engineering and enterprise architecture diagrams to ensure appropriate design and integration of solutions.
- Cross-functional Influence: Demonstrate leadership with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
- Hosted Environments: Experience supporting custom-built systems in hosted/cloud environments.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced software skills, with strong technical acumen across various platforms and systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with management, developers, and customers.
- Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaboration & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, with demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams.
- Process and System Design: Experience with creating system sequence diagrams, process engineering, and enterprise architecture design.
