The Opportunity


We are looking for an EO Data Scientist to join our team in Canada. As a EO Data Scientist for our team you will have the following:


  • 5+ years’ experience in Earth Observations or a related field
  • Post graduate degree in Earth Observations or Geospatial
  • Strong understanding of Satellite Imagery
  • Strong Google Earth Engine skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English language essential – others a bonus)
  • Strong development skills
  • Experience with Machine Learning
  • Experience with EO Algorithm development
  • Proven successful project delivery


The following skills will be highly regarded:

  • Experience with the application of EO for deforestation, water quality/monitoring, crop detection, carbon assessment would be beneficial
  • Experience with a range of geospatial software (Esri, FME)
  • Experience with cloud technology will be a bonus
