Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions to meet the needs of various stakeholders of the client like finance, marketing, product, business development, and HR.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Lead the architecture and design of data warehouses, data marts, and BI reporting solutions.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of BI solutions.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
- Create and manage dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or a related field.
- Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and development.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, statistics or a related field.
- 5+ years in roles related to BI architect, data architect or database development.
- Data base management proficiency in SQL and other similar query languages
- Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS, Redshift, DBT).
- Certifications in BI tools or cloud platforms
- Knowledge of other data management aspects like governance, security, could ops etc
- Good to have 3+ years Experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
