National Sales Director, Wholesale
Reports to: VP Wholesale, North America
Role Overview
Manage sales and distribution of Montblanc Brand in Canada (Wholesale division)
Responsibilities
- Manage sales and distribution of Montblanc wholesale division in Canada, for the following product categories: watches, writing instruments, leather goods and accessories.
- Strategic commercial planning and execution for the following divisions: External boutiques, Department stores, Jewellers and Traditional trade.
- Define and implement distribution strategy to achieve organizational goals. Adapt and optimize product assortments to maximize sales, in line with regional and global guidelines. Sell in of Seasonal novelties and monthly core replenishments.
- Collaborate with Richemont Canada and Richemont US on Flow of goods. Develop strong partnership with sales admin and supply chain teams to optimize allocation of products for Canada. Provide sales forecast for the territory, create inventory buffer for key accounts, oversee deliveries and shipping to achieve monthly and seasonal targets.
- Support Finance department to ensure collection of receivables and achievement of financial KPI.
- Support After Sales Service department to maintain customer satisfaction and avoid escalation of complaints.
- Up to 40% travelling required (Canada and USA), with monthly visits to Montreal.
- Home-office based position
Qualifications
- 10 years sales experience required preferable with luxury fashion, watch & jewelry trade knowledge and background
- Ability to travel to manage accounts in the region
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in team setting, with strong agility and adaptability
- Strong analytical skill, with advanced excel skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills, with a pro-active and problem-solving approach to tasks
- Bilingual English and French Preferred.
- SAP knowledge preferred
