Our reputable client in the agriculture sector is seeking an FP&A Analyst for 6 months, which has the potential to convert into a permanent role. This role will be based 100% onsite in Delta.

Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, this is a newly-created role and a great opportunity to be a business partner to the key leaders in the business. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting the FP&A Manager to standardize, improve current financial models and perform scenario analysis
  • Preparing the annual budget, forecasting, re-forecasting and variance analysis
  • Analyzing financial and operational data to report on KPIs to senior leadership
  • Working closely with the Cost Accountant to provide analysis on the costing model and identify profitability
  • Acting as a business partner to translate financial and operational data into key insights and recommendations for the business to make strategic decisions

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated Finance Professional (CPA or equivalent), with 5+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of inventory/costing.

In addition to the above, the following skills are also desired:

  • Prior experience working as a business partner to senior leaders in the organization
  • Strong financial modelling experience
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience is a pre-requisite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
