Job title: Engagement Manager - AI/ML

Location: Toronto ON

Duration: Full Time - Hybrid


Responsibilities:

  • Lead client relationships and account management including scoping projects, defining deliverables, and managing successful project execution
  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
  • Collaborate with data scientists to translate business requirements into technical AI/ML solutions
  • Pre-process and analyze large datasets to derive insights and build predictive models to increase operational efficiency
  • Ensure development and maintenance of end-to-end machine learning pipelines for model deployment and monitoring
  • Optimize and fine-tune machine learning algorithms for performance, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Oversee implementation of end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI and Machine Learning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and ensure the team's productivity and effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning / AI related model development for Engagement Manager role
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL
  • Strong experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Knowledge of data processing tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their machine learning services
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software development principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), or computer vision preferred
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with deployment tools and frameworks (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, other engineering / management). Advance degree preferred
  • Experience with call center operations and related data hierarchies preferred (but not mandatory)
  • Prior knowledge of Finance and banking preferred
