Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Strategy and Engagement role at Royal Bank of Canada is an opportunity to combine strategic planning, communication, and employee engagement skills to drive client value and help our people thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive employee engagement strategies to enhance collaboration and innovation.
  • Support timely and effective employee communications using multiple platforms.
  • Amplify GFT's strategy, priorities, and achievements through various events and communication opportunities.
  • Build relationships with senior leadership and colleagues across GFT to drive commitment and buy-in to communications, talent strategy, and development initiatives.
  • Deliver communications and employee engagement strategies leveraging insights from annual surveys and pulse checks.
  • Develop and operationalize communications strategies leveraging best practices, including effective stakeholder management and consistent communications across all channels.
  • Identify, manage, and lead talent development and communications metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and tactics.
  • Provide communications coaching and consultation to develop capabilities within teams to manage issues, collect lessons learned, and showcase projects and programs.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with 6+ years of experience in communications.
  • Proven experience in creating and leading strategic, executive, and global online presentations, meetings, and workshops.
  • Effective ability to manage multiple responsibilities, sometimes within tight timelines, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced matrix environment.
