Real Estate Marketing Defined:

The research, strategy, branding, design, marketing and advertising of real estate product. Real estate marketing starts from initial conceptualization of a brand, name and identity, and is followed by the development and execution of a full marketing program and its entailing deliverables. The Account Supervisor will be primarily focused on bringing brands to life by developing and executing innovative go-to-market strategies and execution elements required to bring projects to market on time and on budget. This role also focuses on mentoring members of the accounts team.

You're passionate about real estate and excited to contribute to Toronto’s ever-evolving skyline. You'll play a key role in generating excitement about new projects coming to market and help build the bridge between consumers and real estate developments.


This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of Toronto’s most prominent developers, architectural and interior design firms, sales and marketing professionals, and branding and design experts in bringing brands and buildings to life.


The Account Supervisor (AS) reports directly to the Account Director (AD), Real Estate Marketing and is a day-to-day lead on high-profile clients and the main point of contact.


The successful candidate will independently and flawlessly execute approximately 8-10 launches a year while supporting maintenance projects simultaneously with minimal required guidance from the Account Director, REM.


When required, the AS is will provide instruction and guidance to Account Managers, Account Executives and Account Coordinators/Interns.


Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Supervisor Duties:

  • Independently and flawlessly manage five large scale projects and high-profile clients
  • Execute high profile corporate rebrands and initiatives when required
  • Provide support to more junior Account Representatives by guiding and answering any inquiries they have
  • Maintain an evolving understanding of Greater Toronto’s real estate industry
  • Identify and problem-solve program challenges and consults with the Account Director to avoid them going forward
  • Assist with covering Account Director’s tasks while away on vacation


Client Relations:

  • Understand client and market trends and use them to take the lead on client’s success and growing their business
  • Maintain a line of sight of clients’ annual plans and actively add strategic value beyond the immediate brief
  • Manage client expectations and exceed satisfaction by delivering innovative, high-quality work that pushes their business forward
  • Confidently recommend effective new strategies and innovative ideas to clients to add value to their campaign objectives and upsell agency services
  • Build and strengthen positive client relationships, ensuring requests are met in a timely and service-oriented manner
  • Act as the last line of review for all their work developed by the agency prior to delivering to client


Project Management:

  • Manage collective project launch critical paths including all partners and asset development required for successfully launching the project on time and on budget (i.e. rendering assets, floorplan assets, arriving on time for insert into marketing materials)
  • Confidently talk about current news, topics, trends and events (with an emphasis on the real estate sector) – and, importantly, associate relevancy and ‘connect the dots’ to the client’s product/service and industry and current or future projects
  • Work with Account Director to deliver forecasted quarter and fiscal financial targets and identify areas of growth


High Quality Creatives:

  • Work with Account Director, Executive Creative Director, and Strategist to formulate strategic new brand briefs, brand upfront research slides, strategic go to market plans and innovative execution ideas
  • Support Account Director and creative team in presenting new brands and new go to market strategies and approaches to clients
  • Confidently present new creative execution deliverables with the support of a creative designer or independently to client
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of creative design, budgets/proposals, production assets and proofs, proofreading, etc.

Experience and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or urban planning is an asset
  • 3-5+ years of real estate marketing experience in an agency environment, with a minimum of 4+ full project launches from conceptualization to go-to-market planning and execution, to reaching project sales objectives
  • Experience with purpose-built rental as well as condominium projects is an asset
  • Has a vast knowledge of Toronto Real Estate marketing platforms including print, sales centers/leasing offices, OOH and online media
  • Strong strategic, creative and innovative thinking and problem-solving
  • Has vast knowledge developing real estate project media plans
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated ability to stay organized and to think and plan ahead
  • Exceptionally organized and detail orientated. Meticulous about record keeping and reporting: weekly client status reports, critical paths; monthly wrap reports; knows latest projects; ensures appropriate signatures on all materials (both internally and for client approvals), and contact reports (within 24 hours of meeting)
  • Possesses excellent communication, both written and verbal. Can effectively lead and facilitate discussions in a clear and compelling manner and is confident speaking his/her mind, sharing points of view, providing feedback and insights, handling difficult situations and asking for help/solicit advice, when required
  • Able to manage workflow in an efficient and effective manner
  • Highly motivated and self-starter with a sense of urgency
  • Works well under pressure
