Guidewire Consultant (Contract Position)

Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months initial contract

Location: Toronto, ON, CA

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position, 2d/w in Toronto or Montreal mandatory


Seeking a seasoned Guidewire Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and a deep understanding of the property and casualty (P&C) insurance sector. This role involves configuring, integrating, and optimizing the Guidewire platform to enhance our claims management processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Guidewire Configuration and Integration: Customize and integrate Guidewire ClaimCenter to align with business requirements, ensuring seamless claims processing and system interoperability.

Claims Process Optimization: Analyze and refine claims workflows to boost efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in Guidewire implementation and maintenance.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Training and Support: Educate end-users on system functionalities and offer ongoing support to address any issues or enhancements.


Must have skills and experience:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in configuring and integrating Guidewire ClaimCenter within the P&C insurance industry.

Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in GOSU programming, Java, and related technologies pertinent to Guidewire development.

Analytical Skills: Ability to assess complex business processes and translate them into efficient technical solutions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues promptly.


Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: Guidewire certification in ClaimCenter Configuration or Integration.

Project Experience: Participation in full-cycle Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations or upgrades.

Knowledge: Familiarity with Canadian insurance regulations and standards.
