Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to assist clients in applying for and obtaining approval for the Disability Tax Credit. The ideal candidate is empathetic, organized, and highly skilled in providing exceptional customer service while navigating complex application processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Assistance: Provide one-on-one support to clients through the Disability Tax Credit application process, from initial consultation to submission and approval.
  • Documentation Support: Help clients gather, complete, and organize the necessary documents for a strong application.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and updates promptly and professionally.
  • Education: Explain eligibility requirements, application steps, and the benefits of the DTC in a clear and accessible way.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with medical professionals and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of supporting documents.
  • Follow-up: Track application statuses and proactively follow up with clients and the CRA to ensure smooth processing.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1-3 years in customer service, client support, or a related field. Experience with Disability Tax Credits, government benefits, or financial services is an asset.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and office software.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the Disability Tax Credit program or similar government assistance programs is a strong advantage.
