MHIRJ recherche un(e) Analyste Financier(ère) qui est intelligent(e), curieux(se), qui aime relever des défis et résoudre des problèmes afin d'améliorer la vie des gens. Vous collaborerez avec une équipe flexible, dynamique et soudée.

Sommaire de l'emploi:

Sous la responsabilité du chef de service Finance FP&A vous participerez à la préparation et consolidation du Budget / Forecast / Plan Stratégique. Vous serez aussi responsable de la présentation des actuels où l’on doit raconter l’histoire des résultats comparé au plan. Vous devrez aussi effectuer le suivi sur une base hebdomadaire des risques et opportunités que l’on a vs notre Forecast le plus récent. En addition à cela, vous serez le partenaire financier de l’équipe d’Ingénierie et vous travaillerez avec les partenaires afin de préparer les différents budgets et forecasts. Vous devrez aussi sur une base hebdomadaire faire des projections des résultats futurs attendus. Vous travaillerez en collaboration avec vos partenaires d’affaires afin d’obtenir des résultats et gérer la réalisation des objectifs financiers.

L’Analyste Financier(ère) sera responsable de préparer les diverses écritures nécessaires en lien avec l’équipe d’Ingénierie afin d’assurer que les résultats aux États Financiers seront toujours conformes aux normes comptables. Il sera aussi responsable de produire et présenter les rapports de coûts de départements mensuels afin de pouvoir être proactif et assurer un respect du budget annuel.

La personne retenue doit avoir une bonne organisation, un souci constant du détail et être autonome. Le poste requiert une personne ayant les compétences interpersonnelles et de communication nécessaires pour gérer des partenaires d’affaires dans un environnement très dynamique et performant en plus de détenir de bonnes compétences techniques et en présentation PPT.

Voici quelques éléments essentiels de votre rôle, vous devrez:

  • Préparer et consolider le Budget / Forecast / Plan stratégique incluant la présentation PowerPoint;
  • Préparer et présenter la présentation des actuels;
  • Préparer et présenter le sommaire des Risques et Opportunités hebdomadaire;
  • Être le partenaire d’affaire de l’équipe d’Ingénierie;
  • Préparer les différentes écritures de journal en lien avec l’équipe d’Ingénierie;
  • Effectuer les diverses réconciliations de compte de bilan;
  • Effectuer des commentaires mensuels pour expliquer les écarts entre actuels et prévisions;
  • Travailler avec les différents partenaires afin de recueillir des projections précises des pertes et profits et des flux de trésorerie sur une base hebdomadaire;
  • Être responsable de l'amélioration continue des différents processus sous sa responsabilité.

En tant que candidat idéal:

  • Vous êtes titulaire d’un baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en finances ou en comptabilité;
  • Vous avez une certification CFA ou CPA;
  • Vous avez une expérience de 3 à 7 ans en tant qu’analyste financier;
  • Vous avez une très bonne maîtrise de la suite MS Office (Excel et PowerPoint);
  • Vous disposez de connaissances financières étendues, avec des compétences dans la compréhension des états de pertes et profits et dans la mise en place d'analyses commerciales pour identifier les écarts et les tendances;
  • Vous avez d'excellentes compétences en matière de planification et d'organisation et êtes capable de gérer de multiples priorités et parties prenantes;
  • Vous avez de bonnes compétences en matière de communication et de relations interpersonnelles.

Job Overview:

Reporting to the FP&A Finance Manager, you will be participating in the preparation and consolidation of Budget / Forecast / Business Plan. You will also be responsible for the actual presentation where we tell the story of actual result compared to our plan. You will also need to keep track on a weekly basis of any risks or opportunities that we have vs our latest Forecast. In addition to that you will be the Finance Business Partner of the “Engineering” team and you will work with partners to prepare different budgets and forecasts of Engineering department. You will also, on a weekly basis, prepare projections of future results. You will work with your business partners to achieve results and manage the achievement of goals.

The Financial Analyst wanted will be responsible to prepare journal entries linked with the Engineering teams to make sure all results in Financial Statement will be in accordance with accounting policies. He will also be responsible to produce and present monthly costs report of Engineering departments to help being proactive and make sure annual budget is respected.

The successful candidate must have good organizational, an unwavering attention to detail and be autonomous. In addition to strong technical and PPT presentation skills, the role requires an individual with the interpersonal and communication skills to manage business partners in a high paced, high performing environment.

Here are some crucial elements of your role. You will:

  • Prepare and consolidate Budget / Forecast / Business including Powerpoint presentations;
  • Prepare and present the actual presentation;
  • Prepare and present the weekly Risks & Opportunities;
  • Be the Business Partner of Engineering team;
  • Prepare different journal entries linked with the Engineering team;
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliation;
  • Prepare monthly comments to explain variance vs actuals and forecasts;
  • Work with different business partners to capture accurate P&L and Cash flow projections on a weekly basis;
  • Be responsible for continuous improvement for processes under his responsibility.

As our ideal candidate:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting;
  • You have CFA or CPA certification;
  • You have 3 to 7 years related experience as a financial analyst;
  • You have a strong proficiency in the MS Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint);
  • You have extensive financial knowledge, with skills in understanding P&L statements and in building business analytics to identify variances and trends;
  • You have excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders;
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
