Job Description:
- One of GTT Digital's financial services clients is in need of an experienced Program Manager to oversee their Enterprise Cloud Migration program to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- This is a high-impact, multi-year program critical to this client's technology strategy.
- The Program Manager will oversee the end-to-end execution of the migration, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the cloud migration program, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Project Management: Develop, manage, and execute the program plan, including schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior executives, business units, and technical teams to drive program success. Act as the primary point of contact for all program-related activities.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues. Ensure timely resolution and escalation of critical issues.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, including Google Cloud and other third-party service providers.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on program performance, using appropriate metrics to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the new cloud environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with a focus on large-scale IT transformation projects, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Cloud Expertise: Proven experience with cloud migration projects, specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and security best practices.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of navigating complex challenges.
