Victor is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Claims Examiner in our Errors and Omissions Department to work with independent adjusters, technical experts, and legal counsel to develop and coordinate defense strategies to bring professional liability insurance claims to a prompt and final resolution.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage claim lifecycle from coverage assessment to resolution including but not limited to retainer of lawyers, adjusters, and experts.
  • Assess financial exposures under policy and report to carrier partners where applicable.
  • Communicate with and manage relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate on and potentially present internal and external training and seminars.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

What you need to have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Education background and work experience relating to one or more of the following areas: insurance, claims adjusting, legal, accounting, financial, economics, medical or mathematics field.
  • A willingness to complete all requirements for AMF Adjusters’ license within 12 months of start date.
  • Effective problem solver and strong analytical skills in order to analyze problems and develop/implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional customer service skills in order to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Service oriented professional with a positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively function in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail.

  • AMF Adjusters’ License in good standing.
