Our client is seeking a Bilingual Proposal Writer for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

The Bilingual Proposal Writer oversees the entire proposal development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to the company's stringent standards of quality, punctuality, and precision. This position demands effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams such as sales, marketing, and subject matter experts to craft compelling, client-centric proposals in both English and French.

This hybrid role requires working in the office three days a week and is based in Montreal.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and lead in coordinating, writing, and preparing materials for submissions, information requests, and proposals.
  • Work closely with senior executives, utilizing market research methodologies to identify and qualify potential project leads.
  • Oversee and manage deadlines during the proposal production process.
  • Organize and maintain information within databases for submission use.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a customer relationship management (CRM) and leads tracking database.
  • Help prepare award submissions, brochures, and other marketing materials.
  • Maintain databases and calendars for conferences, award submission deadlines, and other business development or networking events.
  • Support the coordination of seminars, events, and conferences.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5 years of experience in a proposal environment
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in both French and English
  • A completed bachelors degree in a related field is an asset
  • Experienced in using CRM systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes in a professional services setting, preferably with experience in construction management, environmental, architectural, engineering services.

Le rédacteur de propositions bilingue supervise l'ensemble du cycle de vie de développement des propositions, garantissant le respect des normes rigoureuses de qualité, de ponctualité et de précision de l'entreprise. Ce poste exige une collaboration efficace avec des équipes interdisciplinaires telles que des experts en ventes, en marketing et en la matière pour élaborer des propositions convaincantes et centrées sur le client, en anglais et en français.

Ce poste hybride nécessite de travailler au bureau trois jours par semaine et est basé à Montréal.

Rôles et responsabilités

  • Collaborer et diriger la coordination, la rédaction et la préparation des documents pour les soumissions, les demandes d'informations et les propositions.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les cadres supérieurs, en utilisant des méthodologies d'études de marché pour identifier et qualifier les pistes de projets potentielles.
  • Superviser et gérer les délais pendant le processus de production des propositions.
  • Organiser et maintenir les informations dans les bases de données à des fins de soumission.
  • Aider à la maintenance d'une base de données de gestion de la relation client (CRM) et de suivi des pistes.
  • Aider à préparer les soumissions de prix, les brochures et autres supports marketing.
  • Maintenir les bases de données et les calendriers pour les conférences, les dates limites de soumission des prix et d'autres événements de développement commercial ou de réseautage.
  • Soutenir la coordination des séminaires, des événements et des conférences.
  • Effectuer des tâches supplémentaires selon les besoins.

Qualifications et compétences

  • 5 ans d'expérience dans un environnement de proposition
  • Maîtrise de l'expression orale, de la lecture et de l'écriture en français et en anglais
  • Un baccalauréat complété dans un domaine connexe est un atout
  • Expérience dans l'utilisation des systèmes CRM.
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.
  • Connaissance des processus d'approvisionnement dans un contexte de services professionnels, de préférence avec une expérience en gestion de la construction, en services environnementaux, architecturaux et d'ingénierie.
