Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(une) chef d'unité - poste temporaire à notre établissement de Sherbrooke.

Responsabilités
  • Gérer activités quotidiennes des opérations reliées au tri, à la livraison, et à la cueillette;
  • Gérer un groupe d'employés syndiqués (pouvant varier entre 30 et 40 employés);
  • Embaucher de nouveaux employés, assurer leur formation et évaluer leur performance;
  • Compiler et soumettre les rapports des activités quotidiennes d'opération de leur unité;
  • Toutes autres tâches connexes.
Qualifications
  • D.E.C. ou l'équivalent;
  • Expérience de 2 ans dans les opérations et bonne connaissance des méthodes, politiques et procédures;
  • Expérience à gérer du personnel syndiqué;
  • Leader énergique et capacité à motivé une équipe;
  • Aptitude dans les relations interpersonnelles;
  • Excellente capacité de communication (à l'oral et à l'écrit);
  • Excellente capacité d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes;
  • Capacité à coordonner une grande variété de tâches et responsabilités en rencontrant les échéances dans un environnement de travail en évolution rapide;
  • Faire preuve d'autonomie et de motivation;
  • Habilité à travailler en équipe et sous pression;
  • Anglais fonctionnel;
  • Connaissance du territoire (un atout).

Description

Le poste consiste à gérer et superviser les opérations de tri. Il s'agit de diriger un groupe d'employés syndiqués et de créer un environnement de travail positif, en favorisant la loyauté des employés et une atmosphère d'équipe. Le responsable est chargé d'atteindre les objectifs définis dans le tableau de bord opérationnel et de gérer la performance des employés selon les normes et indices opérationnels. L'amélioration des normes opérationnelles se fait par le biais de l'évaluation de la performance des employés, du coaching, du conseil et de la reconnaissance. Il est aussi responsable de la communication et de la mise en œuvre des politiques, procédures ou programmes, ainsi que de la rédaction d'une variété de rapports et de documents. D'autres tâches connexes et assignées font également partie de ses responsabilités.
